Simple Tricks For A Healthier Relationship

 

Nobody wants an unhealthy relationship! Relationships can get stale overtime it is up to you & your spouse to liven things back up. I have been with my husband for 15 years and things are fabulous, although not always. From time to time things get a little contentious between the two of us. When we sit back and evaluate our situation we always realize that we have been neglecting one another, typically by not spending enough time together. So we schedule in a date night asap. It seems like the most simplest fix ever, and it is! It works every time! It doesn’t make the most sense to me that if we are longing for each other that we would be grouchy toward one another but for some reason that is how we work.

Life, relationships do not have to be complicated! Don’t make them that way!

Make Time for Your Loved Ones

Make time for each other as often as you can. Show appreciation by saying thank you for doing daily tasks you typically do anyway so your partner knows you appreciate them. So many of us get so busy and don’t even talk to our partner throughout the day, take a minute to make a quick phone call just to say hi, it will be good for both of you. Always say “I love you”. It is unreal to believe their are so many couples who don’t say “I love you” everyday. I say it at least ten times a day between my family members. 

Compliments Feel Good on the Giving or Receiving End

Make sure to compliment one another, don’t assume your partner knows you think they look good or did a good job at their workout, let them know. We all love to be complimented, it makes us feel good. Write a simple love note, send a simple text message so they know your thinking about them. 

Hold hands, hug and kiss more often!!!
