Incorporate Power Walking Into Your Schedule Today

Power walking is good for your soul, not to mention your body and over all well being. What is power walking? You should be walking about a fifteen minute mile, put the power behind the walk! You burn about the same amount of calories per mile as you do running (it just takes a bit longer for each mile) plus get your cardio in for the day.

Power Walking is Convenient to Fit into Your Schedule

Power walking is so easy to do, all you need are some good walking shoes, and comfy clothes that will allow your body to move freely. It’s great bonding time or just time to catch up with a girlfriend. Benefits Of Walking

There are many benefits to walking including getting exercise, building muscle, keeping your heart healthy, losing and maintaining weight. Walking has mental health benefits as well, it can help you with depression and anxiety. Change up your route, keep it lively so you don’t get bored of looking at the same landscape. On a rainy day you can choose to endure the rain drops (live a little) or hit the treadmill, don’t let the weather stop you. Exercise also helps keep your nutrition in line. After burning off a bunch of calories I’m sure you want to nourish your body with healthy food versus unhealthy (just say NO to donuts). So, lets get moving!
