Garlic Bacon Potatoes
These Garlic Bacon Potatoes are super easy to whip up on weeknights! Kids love them! They may look like there fried but really they are only sauteed in olive oil. Potatoes aren’t always loaded with extra calories. These garlic bacon potatoes pair nicely as a side with any meat dish and a salad.
Ingredients:
- 2 Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil ( I use extra virgin)
- 1/4 cup Bacon Bits
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- Pepper to taste
- Garlic Salt to taste
Directions:
Slice up your potatoes rather thinly, Sauté in olive oil over medium heat, sprinkle with pepper and garlic salt, stir occasionally. When potatoes are nearly finished about 15 minutes, poor in bacon bits and stir, stir in minced garlic, saute a few more minutes until crisp. You want to wait until your potatoes are cooked until soft prior to putting in your bacon bits and garlic to avoid your garlic and bacon bits from burning as they do not take long to crisp up. Then, enjoy!!
