Antioxidants that taste like dessert

Berries of course, are so good for you and tasty. They provide your body with vitamins, antioxidants, protection against inflammation and free radicals not to mention anti-aging benefits. Berries are also a good source of fiber. Berries are a great addition to your oatmeal, yogurt, or salad making them easy to incorporate into your meal. They are convenient, you rinse and go. Fresh berries taste best, however, if they are not in season buy frozen berries in the freezer section at your grocery store. Berries are frozen at their peek so the nutritional value is as good as fresh. They are easy to throw into your blender to create a healthy delicious shake. When buying fresh, don’t buy more than you can eat in a week because they will go bad. If you do happen to over buy fresh berries or you just don’t eat them in time, freeze them before they expire and you can still throw them into your oatmeal or shake. It is just a shame to have to throw away fresh produce.
