About the Program
I will as your coach provide you with HeartMath techniques that are based on over 40 years of scientific research on the psychophysiology of stress, emotions, and the interactions between the heart and brain. HeartMath is designed to improve your emotional wellbeing. You will learn how to change your heart rhythm pattern to create physiological coherence. Physiological coherence is a scientifically measurable state characterized by increased order and harmony in our mind, emotions, and body.

What is Self Awareness?
Self-awareness is not a one-time exercise. It’s an important skill to develop as an on-going practice that can open the door for creating more resilience in your day to day life. Expanding your self-awareness is one of the most important steps in the transformational process and understanding what energizes you and what depletes you.
What is Coherence?
Coherence is a state of optimal functioning in which the autonomic nervous system and other physical systems are in sync and working in a coordinated manner. Coherence is also the alignment of heart, mind, and emotions.
What is Incoherence?
Incoherence is a chaotic signal caused when under stress and experiencing emotions such as frustration, anger, overwhelm, anxiety, etc. These emotions created an incoherent heart-rhythm pattern which limits the brain’s ability to process information, affecting decision-making, problem-solving, discernment and creativity.
What is Heart Rate Variability Pattern or Rhythm?
The naturally occurring beat to beat variation in your heart rate. Heart rate variability is the measure of beat to beat changes in your heart rate. Heart rate variability or HRV can be measured and reveal positive emotions or depleted emotions when measured.
What is Resilience?
HeartMath defines resilience as “the capacity to prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of stress, challenge, or adversity.” Here are some questions to ask yourself: What does resilience mean to you? When you are coherence or “in the flow” how do you perform? How do you respond in challenging situations? How clearly are you able to think? How do you act or interact with others when you are coherent? How do you interact with others when you are incoherent? Do you think you can have more resilience? Do you think your resilience has anything to do with your energy level?
