Eat your nuts! Such an easy way to pack in healthful nutrition every day. Almonds, pistachios, and cashews are my go to, although there are many different varieties of nuts that are good for your health. Just a handful a day will provide you with omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Nuts are very portable to pack, there is no preparing, just eat and go. Nuts are a great snack, however, addicting so you do need to be mindful with your portions. I suggest grabbing a handful and putting the container away rather than eating directly out of the container because if your like me, you will keep going in for more. Like all foods, moderation is key. You can over due it and pack on extra calories and fat you don’t need. Just a handful also helps with satiety making nuts perfect for that in between meals snack.
